Forthcoming Disruption on Public Transport

During the coronavirus outbreak do not use public transport unless your journey is essential. If you do travel you must wear a face mask.

Due to the Covid-19 virus, the following service changes will be in place until further notice:

  • No Night Tube or Night Overground service,
  • A reduced service is operating on all London Underground, London Overground, DLR, TfL Rail and London Trams.

TfL says this information changes frequently. Check before you travel.

No service on the entire line.

District line

Saturday 31 July and Sunday 1 August

No service between Ealing Broadway / Richmond / Hammersmith / Wimbledon / Kensington (Olympia) and Edgware Road / Aldgate East. Use London Overground services between Richmond and Gunnersbury. A special Hammersmith & City line service operates between Hammersmith and Upminster (via Kings Cross St Pancras). Replacement buses operate.

DL1: Hammersmith (for Piccadilly line) - Ravenscourt Park - Stamford Brook - Turnham Green - Chiswick Park - Gunnersbury - Acton Town

Service DL3: Turnham Green (for Piccadilly line) - Chiswick Park - Gunnersbury - Kew Gardens (Royal Botanic Gardens) - Richmond, operates early morning, late evening and before 1200 Sunday when London Overground is not running.

Service DL4: Hammersmith (for Piccadilly line) - Putney Bridge - East Putney - Southfields - Wimbledon Park - WimbledonService DL5: Earls Court (for Piccadilly line) - West Brompton - Fulham Broadway - Parsons Green - Putney Bridge - Putney (South Western Railway) - Wimbledon

Until 1130, no service between Richmond and Camden Road.

No service between Edgware Road and Aldgate (via Victoria).

District line

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August

No service between Hammersmith / Wimbledon / Kensington (Olympia) and Edgware Road / Aldgate East. A special Hammersmith & City line service operates between Hammersmith and Upminster (via Kings Cross St Pancras).

Replacement buses operate - Service DL4: Hammersmith (for Piccadilly line) - Putney Bridge - East Putney - Southfields - Wimbledon Park - Wimbledon

Service DL5: Earls Court (for Piccadilly line) - West Brompton - Fulham Broadway - Parsons Green - Putney Bridge - Putney (South Western Railway) - Wimbledon.

Saturday 7 August

From 2215, a reduced service operates between Paddington and Heathrow, and trains do not call at Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell. The last train from Heathrow Terminal 5 to Paddington will depart at 0002. Sunday 8 August, trains at 0511 and 0541 from Paddington to Heathrow will not operate and the 0902 train from Paddington to Hayes & Harlington will not call at West Ealing and Hanwell.
