Full Steam Ahead For Marston Properties

As Tideway Yard wins Richmond Borough in Bloom Award

Marston Properties Ltd, the Fulham-based family-owned property development and management firm founded in 1895, has been awarded a silver gilt medal by the Richmond Borough in Bloom Awards for the ‘Best Commercial Spaces’ category at Tideway Yard, once the site of the Borough Parks Department.
The Richmond Borough in Bloom campaign enhances the Borough’s natural beauty through floral display in various areas both residential and commercial.

Caroline Marston, managing director and fourth-generation of Marston Properties, said:
‘We are delighted to have received this award. We are enthusiastic advocates of community initiatives, which the Richmond Borough in Bloom award epitomises. Marstons has owned Tideway Yard for 30 years. It is a focal point of the community and, as a local, family-owned business it is important to us to support events such as these.’

Tideway Yard was formerly stables, a coach house, and a steam engine shed and has been restored and renovated into 29 office units ranging from 117 to 1,177 square feet. Many of the offices have views of the Thames with access to balconies or terraces overlooking the river.

Rick Stein and Jill Stein’s Stein’s Trading Ltd has recently acquired Tideway Restaurants Ltd, based at The Depot Brasserie and will eventually open their first London restaurant here.
